90 Day Finance: Which Couples Are on the Brink of a Divorce?

The TLC reality TV show, “90 Day Fiance” is one of the highest-rated shows on the network with millions of people tuning in to see which of the couples are still together and which are splitting up. Many of these couples could have benefitted from the work of Tampa divorce attorneys when they find themselves not enjoying living with their other half. For those of you unaware of the show, “90 Day Fiance” follows the love lives of different couples each season, one of which is always a U.S. citizen and the other a foreign national. The premise of the show revolves around the 90-day K-1 visa that allows foreign nationals into the country on the condition they marry their partner within 90 days.

Divorce lawyers have already been used by many of the cast members of “90 Day Fiance” including one of the most famous couples in the history of the show, Colt and Larissa. The couple married quickly and soon found their lives were not compatible because of the fact the couple was not on the same moral compass. During the course of the marriage, Larissa was arrested a number of times, including for domestic violence against her husband. The couple divorced early in 2019 and the Brazilian has already begun a new relationship with a U.S. citizen.

The relationships of the members of the “90 Day Fiance” can be difficult to keep track of with a number of splits and reconciliations taking place throughout each season. In season six, one of the most difficult couples to keep track of were Jay and Ashley who were on and off throughout the show. The couple had already been the subject of the start of one divorce proceeding before the couple reconciled during the season six finale, RealityTV World reports.

What can we learn from the relationships we see on “90 Day Fiance?” One of the big takeaways for many is that relationships between people from different cultures. Despite the problems, the couples often face under the glare of the spotlight of reality TV, there are many couples who have enjoyed their time together and gone on to become happy and healthy couples.

What couples like Jay and Ashley could have benefitted from as they move through divorce proceedings would be a little work with their lawyers to build a collaborative divorce settlement. Live About explains the procedures of collaborative proceedings begin with meetings held with each person involved in the marriage with their lawyers to come to an agreement over how they will move forward in the future.

For many who begin divorce proceedings, the chance to take part in a collaborative agreement can often feel difficult but it does have a series of benefits for both members of the couple. A couple such as Colt and Larissa may struggle with the process of collaboration as they will have to discuss their issues and come to an agreement about a settlement to bring the marriage to an end.

Among the benefits of a collaborative proceeding is the fact the couple takes any guesswork out of attending a court date. Instead of heading into court to make a deal, the deal is already thrashed out between both parties and their lawyers before arriving in court to present the deal to a judge to be rubberstamped. In most cases, when both parties agree and the paperwork has been completed correctly, the judge will agree to the agreement and grant the divorce quickly
